Hickies: No Tie Shoelaces Review

Disclosure: I received this product for free from Hickies in exchange for my honest opinion.

Recently, I began teaching my 5-year-old son how to tie his shoes. For awhile, my husband and I would purchase his shoes with velcro or buy him slip-ons so that we did not have to worry about him tripping over untied shoelaces. However, he wanted to learn how to tie his shoes and it is time for him to know how. With him being in preschool now I do not want him to have to keep asking his teachers to do it for him. He is still learning and until he learns how to do it well he will be using Hickies.

What are Hickies?

My experience with Hickies

They are great! I was a bit skeptical at first and thought it wouldn’t actually feel custom-fitted but it does! I put them on the shoes that I use when I know I will be doing a lot of walking or exercising. They were easy to put on and I like that you can customize the fit to either feel tight or loose. My son likes them as well. He has not complained about them feeling too tight and his shoes do not slip off of his feet. I do not have to worry about him tripping over his shoelaces while running around throughout the day.

I would definitely recommend this product for kids and adults. It would make an awesome gift for Christmas or a birthday. I wish I would’ve had this when I was pregnant and had trouble putting on shoes. I wore clogs and other slip-on shoes towards the end of my pregnancies. It would’ve been great to still be able to wear my sneakers.
