Disclosure: I received Luvo Frozen meals for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agreed to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.
Lately, I have been more conscious of the foods that I am eating. Not just for myself but for my family as well. I want to instill in my children good eating habits, therefore I am leading by example. Some actions that I have been taking is cutting out junk foods that I used to eat, drinking more water, eating more fruits and veggies and also minimizing my portion sizes. As much as I want to cook amazing meals for my family every night using healthy ingredients I don’t always have the time. That is why I am so glad that I now know about Luvo Frozen meals.
They are available as steam in pouch meals, bowls, and planted power bowls. Luvo’s main goal is to help people in making healthier choices for themselves and their families. They use quality proteins from plants and lean meats raised without antibiotics, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. There are no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners. Luvo also does not season their meals with crazy amounts of salt and added sugars. They flavor them with herbs and spices that give their meals a great taste.
How was my experience with Luvo Frozen meals?
When I went to the grocery store to find these meals there were so many options available. It was hard for me to choose which ones I wanted to try. I was happy to see that they put a lot of information about what ingredients were used and the nutritional value of the meal on the front of the packaging. This was very useful in my decision making.
The dinners are easy to make. You just place them in the microwave for a few minutes. The meal will steam quickly in its packaging. There is no need to pull back any film to vent or puncture it. The steam in pouch meal comes out neatly once you cut the edge of the pouch open and gently shuffle the meal onto a plate. I sampled the Chicken in Bbq sauce, Red Wine Braised Beef & Polenta, Kale Ricotta Ravioli, and Chicken Enchiladas.
I let my family and friends sample these meals too and they loved them. A few people said it taste as if it came from a restaurant. My two-year-old even ate some and she is a VERY picky eater.
